Losing weight

I was on Yedda.com this morning.
I read this question.
  1. what is the quickest and safest way to lose weight ?

  2. how much weight can be lost a once ?

  3. what is a good way to keep the weight off after you lose it ?
This was my answer

The best way to loosing weight is to eat many small meals rather than big large meals. This way your body can use your calories more efficiently. Do not starve yourself and then eat only one big meal, as your body will go into starvation mode and will start trying to retain more calories rather than spending it.

Working out at high intensity will help you burn calories in a more fast and efficient way. Also, doing weights will also help, as it will increase your muscle mass. Muscles cells burn a lot of calories, so carrying more muscles will help you burn calories at all times.

Try to slighty increase your intake of proteins and eat less fat. Also try to eat more complex sugars (complex=veggies or fruits, simple=sugar candies), as it takes the body more energy to absorb them.

Cut on some of your junk snacks (pops, drinks that are not made of real juice, candies, chocolate).

Eat out less, cook at home more often. You will know exactly what you are eating, and will be able to control the amount of fat or proteins and veggies.

Instead of taking the elevators, take the stairs, instead of taking the car to go to the convenient store, try walking, try hot yoga (you will sweat a lot and lose a lot of weight!), try joining a bootcamp, work out with a friend to increase your chance of going to the gym.

And you, what do you think is the miracle solution??

Quotes

Some Intelligence Quotes... hehe

Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices, but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence and fulfills the duty to express the results of his thought in clear form.

Albert Einstein (1879 - 1955), quoted in New York Times, March 19, 1940
It has yet to be proven that intelligence has any survival value.

Arthur C. Clarke (1917 - )
Men fear thought as they fear nothing else on earth -- more than ruin -- more even than death.... Thought is subversive and revolutionary, destructive and terrible, thought is merciless to privilege, established institutions, and comfortable habit. Thought looks into the pit of hell and is not afraid. Thought is great and swift and free, the light of the world, and the chief glory of man.

Bertrand Russell (1872 - 1970)
So far as I can remember, there is not one word in the Gospels in praise of intelligence.

Bertrand Russell (1872 - 1970)
Sometimes I think the surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us.

Bill Watterson (1958 - ), cartoonist, "Calvin and Hobbes"
There is nobody so irritating as somebody with less intelligence and more sense than we have.

Don Herold
The test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposed ideas in the mind at the same time, and still retain the ability to function.

F. Scott Fitzgerald (1896 - 1940), "The Crack-Up" (1936)
It is not worth an intelligent man's time to be in the majority. By definition, there are already enough people to do that.
